Mr. George Donald Ferqueron

MCCORMICK, SC — George Donald Ferqueron passed away on October 9, 2017 at Self Regional Health Hospital.

The son of the late James P. Ferqueron and Virginia Fillmon-Ferqueron of McCormick, SC, George was preceded in death by his soul mate Ernestine Severence-Ferqueron of 58 years, and 3 brothers; Jerome Ferqueron, Archie Ferqueron, and Kenneth Ferqueron.

George was born in St. Petersburg Florida and moved with his Father James P. Ferqueron and family to McCormick, South Carolina during his childhood. George went on to build a successful construction contracting business with his brother Jerome in St. Petersburg, Florida.  George’s residence is in Clearwater, Florida.

Survivors include his Five Daughters; Ellen Miller of Largo, Florida, Sharon Haddad of Loyd, Florida, Virginia Lynne Smith of Murphy, North Carolina, Gail Conolly of Islamorada, Florida and Leslie Meyers of McCormick, South Carolina.  George is also survived by Four Grandchildren; Ryan Miller of Largo, Florida, Kelly Miller of St. Petersburg, Florida, Kegan Conolly and Tanner Conolly of Indian Rocks Beach Florida as well as one Great Grand Child, Keith Miller of Largo Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Largo Florida.
He is most remembered by his bright smile and witty sense of humor.
