Mr. Louie “Lou” Marion Roberts

MCCORMICK, SC — Louie Marion Roberts, 89 years old, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Tuesday morning the 6th Day of April at his home in Avon Park, FL.  

A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. with Bo Willis officiating.

Lou was born on December 17, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas the middle son of the late John R and Francis M. Roberts. Lou spent the majority of his career as a teacher and administrator in the adult education system, however, his passion was using his uncanny skill as a handyman to fix and repair almost anything.  He transformed, with his own hand, countless structures from disrepair into incredible places to behold and revitalized tirelessly anything and everything with a Ford label.  

Survivors include his wife Barbara Roberts, his 4 children, Ronald Roberts of Boulder, CO, Robert Roberts of Coral Springs FL, Thomas Roberts of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Sharon Roberts of Tampa, FL, and numerous grandchildren who will all miss him very much.

Visitation will be held after the service at the grave.
